How a fixed fare works
With a fixed fare you agree the price before you travel and pay exactly that amount, whatever the traffic or route. To lock in a fixed fare, choose to pay online when you book.

Fixed fare or metered estimate?
If you choose to pay the driver (cash, card or Cabcharge), the fare is metered and we show an estimated price range so you know what to expect. If you pay online, the fare is fixed. A fixed fare is usually the better choice for:
